Who Is Lucy?
Lucy is a blogger, traveler and collector of stories.
She explores Japan, hidden record shops, old markets, forgotten streets and unusual places that most visitors pass without noticing. Along the way, she discovers records, postcards, objects, local memories and strange clues connected to Gate 70, the Memory Compass and Air Torenza.
But Lucy does not collect only things.
She collects the stories behind them.
Through her blog, comics and guides, Lucy shares the people, places and discoveries she encounters. She helps readers discover independent shops, local creators, vintage culture and overlooked corners of the world. Her work gives small businesses, collectors and communities another way to be seen, remembered and supported.
Lucy believes that an old object is never only an object. A record can hold a generation. A postcard can preserve a journey. A market stall can become the beginning of a much larger story.
How VINTAGE-IT Began
During one of her discoveries, Lucy found the story of the band VINTAGE-IT and their first record from 1984.
Something about the name stayed with her.
The more she explored music, clothing, posters, records and forgotten objects, the more she realized that vintage was no longer simply something she collected. It had become the way she looked at the world.
She was not only finding vintage.
She was living it.
From that moment, Lucy began calling herself VINTAGE-IT—a name that reflects her curiosity, her style and her belief that the past can become part of a new story.
What Lucy Brings to the Community
LucyLP connects stories, culture and community.
Lucy uses her journeys to introduce readers to independent shops and creators, preserve memories connected to records, objects and places, make vintage culture accessible to younger audiences, turn local discoveries into comics, guides and collectible art, and create a welcoming community built around curiosity rather than status.
Lucy does not arrive as an expert who already knows everything.
She arrives with questions.
